Thump of Shared IP Addresses on Search

When multiple websites reside under one hosting, they all share the same IP address. And, we often see, webmasters think a lot about the impact of shared IP address on Google Search and even try to grab a dedicated IP address for their website.

Such concerns arise in a webmaster’s head, if the other websites holding the same IP address are not considered as good and thus creating bad neighbourhood.

So, here goes a good news for webmasters, who are worrying about this.

Recently, Google’s John Mueller was asked about this in Twitter. In its reply, John wrote, “Shared IP addresses are fine for search! Lots of hosting / CDN environments use them.”.
