Google Released The Latest Search Quality Rating Guidelines

On 19th November 2015, Google finally released a full 160 page PDF file of search rating guidelines which is extensively used by the search quality evaluators to rate Google search results they are experimenting. The ratings or feedbacks provided by evaluators help Google in refining its search algorithm. What Google thinks that exactly search users want, is normally reflected in the quality guidelines. So it can be helpful for webmasters & site owners to optimize their sites according to the guidelines.

Though some guidelines have been released before, this time it’s a major revision of the rater guidelines specifically to adapt for this enormously used mobile phone world as people try to search differently when they are connected online everywhere.

However, Google’s Mimi Underwood told that this is not the final change in the quality rating guidelines. There is a lot more changes to come in the guidelines in the coming years. But only the big changes will be published not the smaller ones which changes periodically, she revealed.
