In that article we have covered two questions.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Is there any immediate impact of ranking for the page removed upon DMCA takedown notice?<\/li>\n<li>Whether the whole site or only the removed page gets affected?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Suppose you want to revise the content. You removed the earlier content completely. Added fresh, unique and quality content. Then you submitted the page for re-indexing by Google.<\/p>\n<p>Now, how would Google consider the new content?<\/p>\n<p>In normal scenario, replacing the <strong>thin\/duplicate content<\/strong> of a page with high quality, in-depth content has good effect on ranking.<\/p>\n<p>So, you may assume the same treatment in this case also.<\/p>\n<p>But you will be surprised when you see Google\u2019s stand on this.<\/p>\n<p>In the recent \u201c<em>Google Webmaster Central office-hours hangout<\/em>\u201d, Google\u2019s <strong>John Mueller<\/strong> advised not to do that as the original problem might drag the page down. You better create a new page.<\/p>\n<p><center><\/p>\n<div class=\"responsive-container\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/DSKD6bOMZSc?rel=0&amp;controls=0&amp;start=2260\" width=\"710\" height=\"400\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p><\/center><\/p>\n<p>Google has no control over this nor it can update the list.
