Google to Show Business Description in Knowledge Panel

Hello Business Owners, Here is a good news for you!

It seems like now Google is again letting business owners to add or edit their business description inside Google My Business. And most importantly, this business description will be available under “From The Business” part in the knowledge panel. This is a new feature by Google.

On 1st August 2016, Google informed everyone that the introduction / description field is no longer editable in Google My Business but, still editable in Google+.

And around after one and half years, Google is bringing this feature back. Google in its Official Support Page has informed about this.

Now to edit the business description, business owners have to login to their Google My Business account and then go to the Info section. In that Info section, business owners may see the pencil icon or edit icon at the right side of business description where they can edit it.

If anyone not able to see these changes inside Google My Business, don’t worry. It may take some time for this feature to roll out everywhere.
