Google My Business Doesn’t Allow Irrelevant Content in Business Description

Previously Google had stated that the published content i.e. the business description in Google My Business should focus on the information that makes your business stand out from others and business owners should use this description field to provide useful insight of their business to their clients like the offered products and the mission & history of business.

Recently, Google added a new line to its business description guidelines which asks business owners to not post irrelevant content about their business or information that has no resemblance to their business.

Also Google asked business owners to refer to its overall guidelines for representing business on Google.
